Which cabinet should you choose?

The cabinet has two primary functions: it makes your defibrillator more visible so that it can be found by everyone, and it has a built-in alarm that is triggered when the cabinet is opened. The built-in alarm helps to draw attention to the emergency situation in the surroundings and call for help.
The first thing you need to decide is whether the defibrillator should hang outside or inside. This has an impact on which cupboard you should choose. If you decide to place the defibrillator outdoors, you must use a cabinet with heat, as defibrillators have a minimum operating temperature of 0 degrees. In addition, you should also consider whether the cabinet should also have ventilation, which can help to cool down the defibrillator in the summer. The most important thing is that the cabinet can maintain a temperature that corresponds to the operating temperature of the defibrillator you buy. The operating temperatures vary between the different models on the market.
